Chalet Emily is surrounded by the widest and best choice of both on and off-piste skiing in Europe.

Ste FoyThe main ski areas apart from Ste Foy are at Val d'Isere, which is linked to Tignes; Les Arcs and La Plagne, which are now joined together by a high speed cable car. Other ski areas are at Sainte Foy Ski Station and La Rosiere.

World Famous Val d'Isere and the 'Espace Killy' region is just a 20 minute drive from the Chalet and has everything! With 300km of slopes including 20 green runss through to 19 black with over 90 lifts, no day will ever be the same.

Sainte Foy itself has the range of pistes ideal for beginners/intermediates, and unparalleled access to superb off-piste for those looking for a little more adventure. It also has the advantage of being cheaper and less crowded at peak times than the main areas. The Sainte Foy resort is a short ski or hike away from the chalet.

For the more adventurous, there are excellent off-piste areas, with the North face of La Fogliettaz, above Sainte Foy offering a challenging ski and a stunning landscape. Sainte Foy is a 15 minute drive from the chalet. La Rosiere connects up with La Thuile on the Italian side of the Alps. This provides a good variety of skiing as well as the fun of skiing from France to Italy for a gourmet Italian meal. La Rosiere is a 10 minute drive from the Chalet.

Villaroger, near Sainte Foy, has a car park and chair lift up to Les Arcs. This avoids the need to drive to Les Arcs and is a good way of beating crowds. The Villlaroger area has beautiful forest pistes which are good to ski, particularly in poor weather when the trees provide both shelter and visual definition, with one fo the longest runs in Europe descending over a possible 2,000m vertical drop! Villager is a five minute drive from the Chalet.
